Busier than a one-armed paper hanger

We have felt so busy lately. Between homeschooling, managing new teams, and cooking all the dinners, I have felt a little like a chicken with my head cut off running here and there and everywhere. I just sat down and compiled a list for the NVM Board of Directors of all the teams/individuals that have been here on our campus in Haiti since Jan. 1. That is only a 10 week time period.

*In that time we have hosted over 35 groups, which have comprised over 350 people!*

Did you catch that? In 10 weeks we have hosted and cooked for over 350 people! And actually, it has been more than that. Those are only people through NVM, but we have had hundreds here through our partner in Vineyard Mercy Response.

Now I see why we have felt so busy lately... because we have been! Aaron feels like he lives at the airport (there are days he goes there 3 times. And it is at least an hour drive each way).

So, why do I tell you all this? Mostly because I want you all to know that there is A LOT going on here. We have had medical clinics in IDP tent camps, dental clinics, vision clinics, basketball clinics, fence building, tent building, chicken coop building, warehoue building, hospital building, new team housing, new bathing facilities, new cafeteria/kitchen building, sewing clinics, many small building projects, Jesus Film showings, food distributions, all-church luncheons, church services, life skills classes, grief counseling/training, solar panel installation, children's home building, and much more I can't even think of right now.

A lot of people are learning, growing, and stepping out of their comfort zones. Friends are being made, lives are being changed. And you have a lot to do with it. We wouldn't.... no we COULDN'T be here without all of you. Many of you have supported us in ways we may never be able to fully express our gratitude for. We have received financial support, prayer support, and much more from so many of you.

So THANK YOU ALL! You are the reason so many people are becoming who God created them to be. Whatever your role with The Elliotts and NVM we want to thank you and encourage you to continue your efforts. They make a difference!
