Not only is that a saweeet song by Europe, it is also the reality for the Elliott fam! In 3 days we get on a plane headed for Haiti! Hard to believe, but its true. There are so many loose ends to tie up... dentist appointments, vet appointment, last minute meetings with friends, packing, etc. But we will be on that plane whether we are ready or not. For those of you that are the praying kind we ask that you say a special prayer for our house in Haiti. It isn't done. And isn't scheduled to be until March. That would put our family (yes, the dog and the 2 year old too) in a tent for the next three months. I really struggle with asking for this because there are still millions of families living in tents all over Haiti. With much worse conditions. I just know this move is going to be a huge change, especially for the kids, and it would be so much easier if we had a space that was ours. In the end, whatever happens... well, happens. And we are cool with that. We will keep ya'll posted :)
This is a current view of the house we will share with another family of five (love ya Shultz family!). The outside is all finished, we can't wait to move in!
