We don't have much family in Indiana. In fact my sister and her husband are the only relatives representing (and we are so thankful they live here!). So we typically spend holidays with our "group". This is technically our community group (also referred to in the past as a bible study, church group, and life group depending upon the PC term at church at the time). But informally they are our best friends. Since we will be gone this next year in Haiti we decided to have one big celebration and combine all of our usual get togethers into one gigantic fun night! Thus, ThanksChrEaster was born. Dan had just been out west hunting and brought home pheasant. Margie made a delicious recipe and hopefully my first experience eating pheasant won't be my last! I sure am going to miss you guys!!!
