Dessert Night- Tuesday

Tuesday was our first dessert night and it was a big success. It was so nice to spend an evening with so many people who are invested and excited about what is going on in Haiti with NVM.
We had some cookies, great apple crisp (thanks to Margie and Joanne) topped with delicious homemade cinnamon ice cream (thanks to Jack Altekruse), a fruit spread (thanks to Emily). Coffee and Tea was served wonderfully by Sarah. It was all so good.

If you missed out on this dessert night, we have 2 more coming up. Just make sure to RSVP so we can plan for you in making yummy treats!

  1. hi Elliots!

I (joe) was privileged to go to Haiti at the end of july and first of August with Chis Shore's team. I had heard of your planning to spend a year in Haiti and am glad to have found your blog.

God is alive and well and I was at times struck by the seeming fact that the Haitians demonstrated JOY in the midst of oppressive poverty.

I look forward to following God's work through you and NVM.
